Bryn Athyn, Pa. - A win by Johnny Walker at No. 2 singles gave Bryn Athyn's men's tennis team the final point of the day but Immaculata rolled at the other spots as the Lion fell 8-1 to the Mighty Macs Tuesday afternoon.
Andrew Dexter and Walker fell at number one doubles, 8-4. Billy Martin and Luke David lost at second doubles 8-2. Ray Norfo and Todd Hirsch fell at third doubles 8-0.
Dexter lost at first singles, 6-2, 6-3. Play wasn't quite done, as Walker gave the Lions some positive momentum to take forward with them thanks to a lengthy battle with No. 2. Walker won the first set 6-2, lost 6-2 in the second and outlasted Immaculata 10-7 in a super tie-breaker to win the third and take the match. Phil Brandt battled at third singles, but fell 6-1, 6-4. Norfo dropped at fifth singles 6-0, 6-2. Hirsch fell at 6-1, 6-1.
