Men's Lacrosse Defeats Cobleskill in NEAC Action

How It Happened:

Bryn Athyn College got off to a quick 2-0 start with two goals from Ryan Landels. SUNY Cobleskills responded with an unassisted goal but was counterattacked by the Lions who went on a 3-0 run for a 5-1 lead. The Tigers then went on a 3-0 spurt of their own but Jon Carr was able to close out with an unassisted goal, 6-4, with only four seconds left in the first quarter. 

 

The Lions outperformed the Tigers in both second and third quarter outscoring them 6-2 and 5-1 respectively for a commanding 17-7 lead. In the final period, Andrew Coyle assisted James Vandegrift for the Lion's only goal in the fourth quarter and it was enough to help the Lions earn an 18-9 victory in the North Eastern Athletic Conference regular season finale win.

 


Lions Top Performers:

* Landels finished with game high six goals while Vandegrift had four.

* Brad DePasquale collected 12 saves at the goal post in the victory.


Tigers Top Performers:  

* Jeremy Mowrey, Sean Degnan, and Kieran Tierney each scored two goals for the Tigers.

* John Montaniz collected nine saves at the goal post in the effort.
