Buffalo, NY. – The men's lacrosse team traveled to upstate New York to take on Medaille in NEAC action. The Lions cruise to a 16-3 victory to move to 7-3 overall and 3-2 in the NEAC.
The Lions' Nolan Frame set the tone for the day, scoring the first three goals of the game, two of the goals was assisted by Andrew Coyle and one by Jesse Frazier. Ryan Landels put the Lions up 4-0 when he took a pass from Coyle at the 6:12 mark and beat the Maverick goalkeeper. Medaille added a goal late to make the score 4-1 in favor of the Lions at the end of the first quarter.Bryn Athyn then added four more goals in the second to go up 8-1. The Lions goals were scored by Graham Lermitte, Landels, Steve Petaccio and Frame. The Lions outshot Medaille 19-7 in the half.
The Lions continued the offensive barrage in the third, increasing their lead 13-1. Frame and Coyle led the Lions in the quarter with two goals apiece.
Bryn Athyn entered the fourth quarter with the game well in hand, adding three more goals in the quarter before Medaille put up two goals toward the end of the game. Petaccio, Frame, and Lermitte scored goals in the fourth to secure the Lions 16-3 victory over Medaille.
The Lions was led by Frame with seven goals on ten shots and four groundballs. Landels added three goals while Petaccio, Coyle, and Lermitte all added two goals in the victory. The Lions' Robert Moran had to make seven saves on only ten shots.
Bryn Athy moves to 7-3 overall and 3-2 in the NEAC. Bryn Athyn has three pivotal NEAC games coming up that will determine their postseason. The Lions come back home to take on SUNY Cobleskill on Friday, April 22nd at 4:00 pm.
