Cobleskill, NY. – The Bryn Athyn College men's college defeated SUNY Cobleskill in NEAC action Friday afternoon.
Nolan Fame led the Lions with five goals and two ground balls. Connor Buick scored three goals. Andrew Coyle, Ryan Landels, and Marlon Forrest put in two goals each. Quintin Harrish notched one goal in the win. Landels picked up five ground balls and Mark Strange added four ground ball picks.
Bryn Athyn out shot the Tigers, 32-18. Lions scored two out of three man up opportunities. Bryn Athyn went a perfect 19-19 on clear attempts.
Coyle started the scoring of Lions in the first two minutes of the game. Cobleskill tied the game at the 11:27 mark. Frame for Bryn Athyn scored the next three goals in the quarter to put the Lions up 4-1.
Both teams started the second quarter exchanging goals, but the Lions kept their three goal lead till the 2:40 mark. Bryn Athyn ended the last three minutes scoring three goals to extend their lead to 9-3.
Robert Moran made four saves in the net for the Lions.
