Men's Lacrosse Suffers Defeat at Home Against Hood College 14-4

Bryn Athyn, PA. – The men's lacrosse team took to their new field once again in action versus non-conference opponent Hood College.

Terrence Johnson led the team with two points, one goal and one assist.  Scott Witmyer, Sean Feyler, and Kieran Ragan each contributed one goal.  Mike Donnelly notched one assist.

Today's matchup did not begin the way the Lions had planned.  Hood College scored 3 unanswered goals in the first quarter and 2 more in the second before Witmyer fought to score his first goal of the season.  The half would end with Hood up 6-2, with Ragan putting home his goal with less than a minute left.

The second half brought yet more adversity.  Hood would go up 11-2 before Johnson scored after running by his defender making it 11-3.  Feyler scored with less than a minute left in the fourth to bring the score to a final of 14-4.

Robert Moran stood tall in the net for the Lion's making 20 saves and a school record 19 ground balls.

The Lion's look to bounce back on Wednesday at home verse Mount St. Vincent, the action starts at 4 pm.
