Men's Lacrosse Falls to Mount Saint Vincent on the Road

Yonkers, NY. - The Bryn Athyn College men's lacrosse team fell to Mount Saint Vincent 12-4 in Sunday night contest.

Terrence Johnson led the offense with two goals. Christian Blair and James Lindrooth scored a goal a peice as well.

The Dolphins got the board first with a goal three minutes into the first quarter to take the lead. Bryn Athyn responded with the tying goal with 9:55 left in the first, scored by Blair. The teams would exchange shots on goal, but would keep the game tied at 1-1 going into the second.

Mount Saint Vincent scored four unanswered goals in the second, until Johnson scored with five minutes left in the quarter to chip away at the 5-2 lead.

Heading into the third, the Dolphins kept on the pressure and scored five goals to build their lead to 10-2.

Two minutes into the fourth, Johnson scored his second goal of the night off a pass from Blair. The Dolphins responded with two quick goals to keep control of the game 12-3. With eight seconds left in the game defenseman Lindsrooth scored for Bryn Athyn.

Lindrooth and Johnson led the Lions with six ground balls a piece. Patrick Funchion, Dylan Roscioli, and Robert Moran each picked up four ground balls. 

Moran played in goal for the Lions and notched 12 saves. 

Bryn Athyn finishes the season on the road next Saturday at Houghton College. The game is slated for 1:00 pm.
