Atlantic City, NJ.- The Bryn Athyn College men's ice hockey team defeated Richard Stockton 9-6 in Sunday afternoon action. 

Terrence Johnson led the team with four goals. Blake McCurdy added two goals, while David DalCortivo notched two assists. Travis McCurdy also had a multiple-point game, registering a goal and an assist.  

Richard Stockton got on the board first at the 16:52 mark. Thirty seconds later, Ray Weissler and Benjamin Silvers found Johnson on a neutral zone pass. Johnson took the puck up the boards and scored five-hole, tying the game at 1-1.  One minute later, DalCortivo took a shot on goal, and Blake McCurdy put the puck in off the rebound, giving the Lions a 2-1 lead. At 8:28, the Ospreys scored, leaving the score deadlocked at 2-2 going into the second period. 

One minute into the second period, Blake McCurdy poked the puck in during a scramble in front of the net, giving the Lions the go ahead goal. Thirty five seconds later, the Ospreys scored, to tie the game up for the third time. At 17:47 Johnson skated the puck across the slot and found the back of the net, reclaiming the lead for Bryn Athyn.  At the 10:05 mark, Johnson notched his third goal of the night when he deked the goalie and backhanded the puck in, giving the Lions a 5-3 lead. Three minutes later, Richard Stockton scored the final goal of the period, cutting Bryn Athyn's lead to one. 

During the final period of play, DalCortivo found Johnson on the left post for a top shelf goal at the 11:50 mark. The Ospreys answered at the 8:28 mark. One minute later, Travis McCurdy took the puck up the right side and passed across the slot to Blake McCurdy for the back door goal. At 6:02, Jordan Roth connected with Danny Triesler, giving the Lions a three goal lead. At the 2:33 mark, Richard Stockton scored, cutting Bryn Athyn's lead to two. The Ospreys pulled their goalie for a one man advantage, and at the :35 mark, Travis McCurdy scored an empty net goal for the final goal of the game.

The Lions head into post-season play Saturday, February 16th at IceWorks, Aston, Pa.
