Lynchburg, VA. - The Bryn Athyn College men's lacrosse team lost to Randolph College in Wednesday afternoon action.
Terrence Johnson led the Lions with one goal, four ground balls and three shots on goal.
The Wildcats got on the board first at the 9:56 mark. 90 seconds later, they scored again to take a 2-0 lead. Johnson responded 30 seconds later to cut the goal deficit to one. Randolph scored two goals within the last minute of the first period, to take a 4-1 lead.
Randolph took control of game scoring six goals in the second period, seven in the third and only three in the fourth.
Pat Funchion and Dylan Roscioli led the defense, picking up six ground balls apiece. Matt Bartalini played the first 30 minutes of the game and made eight saves. Robert Moran playing in the third period and made two saves. Nelson Lopez saw time in the fourth period and notched one save.
The Lions return to the field to host Arcadia next Wednesday. The game is set for 4:00 pm.
