Bryn Athyn, Pa.- The Bryn Athyn College men's ice hockey team fell to D1 Drexel 4-2 in Wednesday night action. 

Blake McCurdy and Ray Weissler each recorded goals for the Lions, while Cade Gurney and David DalCortivo notched an assist apiece. 

Drexel got on the board first at the 10:00 mark. At the 7:58 mark, the Dragons scored again, taking a 2-0 lead. Bryn Athyn answered five seconds later when Weissler sent the puck into the zone and the Drexel goalie mishandled the puck into the net, bringing the Lions within one. Two minutes later the Dragon's scored again, taking a two goal lead. At the 3:11 mark, DalCortivo and Gurney passed the puck along the boards to McCurdy, who brought the puck down into the zone and hit the top left corner for the goal. 

The second period remained scoreless, as momentum switched back and forth between the Lions and the Dragons.

During the final period of play, Drexel scored at the 15:11 mark to win the game 4-2.

The Lions host Widener on Friday, February 8th in their last home game of the season. The puck is set to drop at 8:00pm.
