GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – After a record-breaking season for Bryn Athyn, junior guard Rahim Washington was rewarded by the North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) 14 head coaches with a place on the All-NEAC men's basketball third team.

With Washington's selection to the all-conference team, the first of his career, he becomes the second player in Lion history to earn a place on the All-NEAC team. Deion Boyer was named to All-NEAC third team in the 2016-17 season.

Washington put together one of the best offensive seasons in the Lions' five-year history in 2017-18. In 25 games, Washington scored 462 points, averaged 18.5 points per game, and made 159 field goals and 93 free throws—all program records. Washington also set the program record for steals with 51.

He knocked down seven 3-pointers on 12 attempts against Wilson College on Jan. 31, 2018 to tie the school record for the most made 3-pointers in a single game. Washington had 32 points, the second most by a player in team history, against Penn State Brandywine on Jan. 5, 2018.

The conference leader in minutes per game (36.7), Washington ranked second in points, third in points per game, fourth in made field goals, fifth in steals, sixth in made free throws, seventh in assists (85), and 12th in made 3-pointers (51).

In 16 NEAC games, Washington had 18.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, 66 assists, and 36 steals. He ended up fourth in the conference in scoring, sixth in steals, and seventh in assists.
