1. How did you initially take the news that Bryn Athyn was going completely online for the spring trimester?
At first, I really thought this was going to be impossible and that I would not do well. I thought that students would not show up to classes and the professors would feel like they can't help and have class involvement. But after about a week or so, professors found ways to get students involved. With the fear of not doing well, professors made it possible to have one-on-one meetings to go over the material in a slower matter.

2. How have you adjusted to online learning?
Online classes were very hard during the first week. I am a visual, in-class learner and it very hard to focus online. Not being in a classroom setting really set off my learning. I found that time management is a huge change. It's very important to go over notes more and read the textbook in-depth to really understand the topics for myself.

3. What have you missed the most about being at Bryn Athyn?
I miss my suitemates, waking up at 6 a.m. to go to lacrosse practice with my crazy teammates, and, most of all, seeing everyone at Bryn Athyn who says hi to you walking around campus even if you don't know them.

4. What have you been doing to remain active and healthy at home?
To stay active, I am going on daily runs, bike rides, playing volleyball with my sisters to get ready for outdoor season and fall season, taking my dog for a walk, and doing at-home workouts to keep me strong for sports.

5. What activities have you been doing at home to take your mind off of classes and being at home?
When taking a break from studying and classes, I am going outside to enjoy the nice weather, wall ball to keep my lacrosse skills intact, and playing volleyball with my sisters.

6. How have you kept in contact with your teammates?
We reach out to one another through social media and GroupMe. For volleyball, we made a social distancing challenge of passing the ball to one another through videos. It was very fun to make and it makes me miss sports so much more.

7. How do you feel about having your season cut short by the pandemic?
Getting this news was extremely hard to take in. Being only my second year ever playing lacrosse, I have developed a relationship with my teammates and coaches. Even though waking up early is tough, we all have a great time during practice and enjoy the sunrise. Our coach came across a great idea to listen to a book called "The Hard Hat: 21 Ways to Be a Great Teammate" based on a true story about lacrosse player George Boiardi. As a team, we were all excited to begin the season and take it all the way to finals in the CSAC.
