Hello Student-Athletes,
It is with a heavy heart that the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and entire Athletics Department have to mourn the loss of our Spring 2020 athletic season. As a student-athlete at Bryn Athyn College, I know the determination we all have in order to excel on the field, court, or ice as well as in the classroom. Your determination and dedication towards your individual sport hasn't gone unnoticed by anyone on campus even though only a few games were played.
We must come together in this time of uncertainty and become united as one. We all have an opportunity to make Bryn Athyn Athletics stronger. Stay in touch with your teammates whether group Facetime or group chats, challenge each other to become better from home as you would at practice. Being away from each other shouldn't stunt the friendship and team bonding already started this year and years before. Being a student-athlete at Bryn Athyn College is something a pandemic cannot take away from us.
As a senior student-athlete, I mourn with fellow seniors who did not know their first few games of the 2020 season would be their last. This isn't the last though. The memories and friendships you have made playing and practicing with our teammates will follow us for the rest of our lives. The toughness our coaches have instilled in us will help us conquer whatever comes next in our paths.
Bryn Athyn Athletics is behind each every one of us during this time. We will strive to be even greater after this.
Your SAAC President,
