BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) raised 730 dollars during the College's "Light Up The Night" event on Friday, Sept. 1 for the American Red Cross that will go towards the Hurricane Harvey Fund.
In the days after Harvey and leading up to "Light Up The Night, SAAC went around campus promoting the concession-stand fundraiser with fliers around campus. On the day of the event, which featured three athletic events on General Ronald K. Nelson Field and a fireworks show, the men's basketball team took the lead in running the concession stand and sold hoagies, sodas, and chips.
