Bryn Athyn Athletics celebrates most successful year in program history

BRYN ATYHN, Pa - On Monday May 16, all 13 Bryn Athyn Athletic teams gathered for a year end of celebration. The 2021-22 school year was the most successful year for the athletic program.

You have contributed to the most successful year in the history of the athletics department at Bryn Athyn! Simply said, History Made! You have set the benchmark for athletes to follow and left your legacy. Here's what you achieved this year:

Three CSAC championships!

First ever - Individual championship in XC – Rafe Williams

First ever - Team championship in WSOC

First ever - Team championship in WLAX

Three CSAC Players of the Year

Men's XC – Rafe Williams

WSOC – Ashley Rivera

WLAX – Payton Gormley

Three CSAC Rookies of the year

We may be the smallest college in the NCAA, but we are small and mighty.

Ice Hockey

Joined the Colonial States College Hockey Association, Division II.

11-10 overall.

Finished 5th in regular season.

Ranked 14th in the region.

Qualified for playoffs and lost in quarterfinal.

Zach Pamaylaon was 2nd in the nation in points.

Won league MVP, league leader in goals, assists, and points.

Three of our players played in the All-Star Game post season, Zach Pamaylaon, DJ May and Aidan Esack. Their team won.

In closing, to those of you continuing your pursuit of excellence, when you get back to practice and competition, appreciate and value every moment. For those whose playing time has come to an end, hold your head high. Embrace the joy, friendships, and memories you have made because of sports. Being part of a team is truly something special that you will always remember.
