ROSEMONT, Pa. – CSAC released their preseason poll for women's basketball Tuesday afternoon. Bryn Athyn picked to finished tied for seventh, but received one first place vote.
Notre Dame(Md.) was picked first by the coaches in the 2021 Colonial States Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Gators received 84 points and two first place votes. Keystone College was second with 81 points and six first place votes. Clarks Summit was third with 69 points and one first place vote, followed by Saint Elizabeth in fourth with 61 points.
Cedar Crest was tabbed fifth with 56 points. There was a log jam at sixth and seventh with Cairn picked sixth with 48 points. Bryn Athyn and Rosemont tied for seventh with 45 points, but the Lions did get picked to finish first by one of the teams in the league.
Valley Forge and Wilson finished out the poll at ninth and tenth with 32 and 29 points respectively.

Our young ladies have worked hard, not only this fall but through the entire pandemic, and it's going to be great to just get out and compete through a full schedule. We look forward to opening things up this Saturday at home in front of all our friends, family, and fans, and then opening CSAC play before we know it on November 23."
Play begins Saturday November 6, with the CSAC slate starting on November 23 for a home game against Rosemont College.
The CSAC Championship is set to begin Monday February 21, with the championship game is schedule for Saturday February 26, 2022.
