How it happened
Williams won the CSAC Championship with a time of 30:47.1 edging out the host school, Keystone runner, Cameren Brice who logged a 30:47.2 time. The difference was the final stretch where Williams sprinted through the line. Williams secured the first individual championship in school history as a freshman. Declan Williams finished sixth with a time of 33:43. The Lions had another runner in the top 15 in Michael Jones who clocked in at 36:38. Callum Homber, Aidan York, and Magnus Lawing finished 28th, 30th, and 32nd respectively. Trajan Frazier closed the race for the Lions 41st.
The women finished seventh overall. Natalie Shaw and Terrae Lewis finished right behind one another to place 20th and 21st. Kaylia Duncan and Ursula Friesen finished within three spots at 36th and 39th with times of 42:27 and 44:19. Jency Brock clocked in at 47:02 to finish 43rd.
