BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - Bryn Athyn College Men's Lacrosse was picked fourth in the 2021 Colonial States Athletic Conference coaches preseason poll released this afternoon. Montclair State, Stockton University, and Kean University all received at least one first place vote and were ranked above the Lions. The Lions were ranked ahead of Centenary, Keystone, and Rosemont. This ranking is a three spot improvement from 2020 poll when the Lions were picked to finish seventh last year.

Conference play is set to begin on April 3 on the road at Keystone College. Head Coach Jack Crawford said, "Like any season, our success on the field will depend on three things: how hard we work to prepare for our competition, how well we focus daily on improving the quality of our play, and how accountable all of us are for each other in practice and games. If we do those things consistently, we'll have a chance to compete and have a successful season."

Bryn Athyn Lacrosse returns to the field for the first time since March 14, 2020. The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Board of Directors determined that spectators shall be prohibited at all athletic competitions until further notice with a commitment to revisit the decision as conditions change. All games will be livestreamed on the Bryn Athyn Livestream Network.

The 2021 CSAC Championship, which will feature the top four teams, is slated to start on Saturday, May 1, with the semifinals. The top seed will host the fourth seed, while the second seed will host the third seed. The championship is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, with the winner receiving the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
