ROSEMONT, Pa. – After a tremendous final week of his collegiate career, Bryn Athyn College's Okoye Taylor took home the final Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) men's basketball player of the week award of the 2019-20 season Monday.
Taylor began his week celebrating his Senior Night by going off career-high 34 points on 7-of-13 shooting from 3-point range and grabbing six rebounds as the Lions knocked off first place Centenary 84-80 on Feb. 19. In the final game of his career, Taylor shot 7-of-13 from the floor to record 19 points in an 80-62 loss to Rosemont on Feb. 22.
He finished the season averaging a career-high 13.0 points per game and made 52 3-pointers. He also had 40 assists and 18 steals. Taylor ended up second in the CSAC in made 3-pointers.
