IMMACULATA, Pa. – In its final tune-up before the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship, the Bryn Athyn College women's cross country recorded a third-place finish at the Immaculata Invitational Thursday afternoon.

The Lions totaled 84 points in the five-team event. Host Immaculata had 26 points to win the event, while Gwynedd-Mercy tallied 47 points to take the runner-up spot.

Laura Clymer led the way for Bryn Athyn as she completed the 3-kilometer course in a time of 13 minutes, 11.3 seconds to finish 16th overall. Clymer is the Lions' top finisher for the second straight race.

Lianhua Lenihan posted a time of 13:26.4 to record a 20th-place finish. Miranda Hyatt's time of 13:59.7 landed her in 25th place. Danae Elder crossed the finish line with the 30th-place time of 14:44.2. Alair Brock claimed Bryn Athyn's final scoring position as she ran the race in 14:58.2 to end up in 32nd place.

In her first race in over a month, Katharina Karrenbauer earned 39th place with a time of 15:36.6. Emily Pizzaro rounded out the Lions' lineup as she posted a time of 16:08.0 to claim 42nd.

Unattached runner Jen Cronin recorded a time of 11:20.7 to win the 51-runner race.

Bryn Athyn will compete in the NEAC Championship on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Morrisville State College.
