Women's Tennis Wins on the Road Against College of St. Elizabeth

Morristown, NJ.- The Bryn Athyn College women's tennis team defeated the College of St. Elizabeth 6-3 in Tuesday afternoon action.

Holly Adams and Katrina Hughes defeated their opponents 8-2 in first doubles. At second doubles Tori Hallstrom and Nicole Smith fell 8-2, while Kaitlyn Brock and Natalie Daum recorded an 8-3 win in the third slot.

Adams dropped 6-0, 6-0 at first singles. Brock won by default at the no. 2 spot, while Hughes fell 6-4, 6-0 at third singles. Hallstrom defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-1 in the fourth slot, and Daum picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at sixth singles. Smith fought hard at fifth singles, winning the first set 6-2. During the second set, Smith found herself behind 5-1, but battled back to win the set 7-5.
 
The Lions return to the court Sunday, April 28th to face Misericordia. The match is slated for 1:00pm.
