GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - Bryn Athyn College sophomore goalkeeper Allie Warren (Tower City, Pa./Lebanon Catholic) earned her second consecutive North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Defensive Player of the Week award on Monday.
In a 1-1 week for the Lions, Warren posted 19 saves, a 1.50 goals against average (GAA), and a .863 save percentage. Warren started the week off by making a career-high 14 saves in a 3-2 loss to New Jersey City University on Sept. 13. She came back three days later to record her third shutout of the season with a five-save performance in a 1-0 win over Old Westbury to close out non-conference play.
Warren is 4-1-0 with a NEAC best .913 save percentage. She leads the conference with three shutouts and sits second with a 0.80 GAA. Warren is sixth with 42 saves.
Bryn Athyn (4-1-0) starts NEAC play with a trip to Gallaudet on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m.
