BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's lacrosse team will reach the halfway point of conference play when the Lions host Centenary in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) game Saturday afternoon on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.

  1. After scoring a season-high seven goals in the win over Notre Dame (Md.), Bri Lennox jumped up to second in the CSAC with 27 goals and 4.50 goals per game and third with 33 points and 5.50 points per game. Bryn Athyn is 6-0 when Lennox records at least seven points in a game and 5-0 in games where Lennox scores seven or more times.
  2. The Lions ran their winning streak when they score at least 10 goals in a game to 14. Under head coach Denise Roessler, Bryn Athyn is 25-3, 4-0 in 2019, when it scores in double figures. Bryn Athyn is posting 16.00 goals per game in its four wins. This season, the Lions are averaging 12.00 goals per game—which is second in the CSAC.
  3. Bryn Athyn is sporting one of the best defenses in Division III, ranking sixth in the country in goals against average (5.50) and 12th in caused turnovers (15.17). Four Lions are ranked in the top 10 in the CSAC in caused turnovers per game: Sarah Reed (3rd, 2.67), Tina Tu (T-5th, 2.00), Payton Gormley (T-8th, 1.67), and Shauna Breen (T-8th, 1.67).
  4. Payton Gormley recorded four points (three goals, one assist) in Tuesday's win against the Gators. It was the fourth time in 2019 that Gormley had four points in a game and the Lions are 4-0 in those games. In Bryn Athyn's two losses, Gormley was held pointless. She is seventh in the CSAC with 2.83 points per game.
  5. Bryn Athyn is squaring off against Centenary for the first time since the inaugural meeting on March 21, 2016. It was a 13-8 victory for the Cyclones on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.
