BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – After getting back in the win column last Saturday, the Bryn Athyn College women's lacrosse team goes for its second straight win Tuesday afternoon against the College of Notre Dame (Md.) on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.
- Jess Philipp has played her best lacrosse away from home this season. In the Lions two road games, Phillipp recorded eight goals and eight assists. Last Saturday at Rosemont, Phillipp tallied a career-high nine points with four goals and a career-best five assists. She has one goal and one assist in the Lions' three home matches. In the CSAC, Phillipp is ranked second in assists (nine) and assists per game (1.80), fifth in points per game (3.60), and sixth in points (18).
- Bri Lennox is eight points away from becoming the second player in Bryn Athyn women's lacrosse history to record 100 career points. Last season, Sabrina Colbridge was the first player to reach the century mark. Colbridge is the program record holder for points in a career with 107. Lennox already owns the program history for career goals with 79.
- Bryn Athyn's offense has been the difference for the team in its first five matches. In the Lions' three victories, Bryn Athyn is averaging 17.0 goals per game and scored in double figures in every game. The Lions have shot 51.0 percent in the wins. In the two losses, the Lions have been held to just 4.0 goals on 18.6 percent shooting. The Lions are averaging 11.8 goals per game, second in the CSAC.
- Three of the top four goal scorers in the CSAC belong to Notre Dame. Megan Morales is the CSAC's leading scorer with 40 goals and 6.67 goals per game. Morales scored at least seven goals in a game four times. Julie Hagis has scored 19 times to be ranked third in the conference, while Kirstin McGee sits fourth with 18 goals. McGee also leads the conference with 17 assists. The Gators are the highest scoring team in the league with 16.33 goals per game.
- Bryn Athyn is facing Notre Dame for the first time since April 2, 2014—the only meeting between the teams. The Gators won the game 16-8 on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.
