BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's lacrosse team will hit the road for the first time this season when the Lions head to Lancaster Bible College for a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) match on Saturday, April 7 at 3 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Lions wrapped up a season-opening five-match home stand with a 14-3 victory over Penn State Abington on March 30. Bri Lennox had seven goals and one assist to lead the offense, while Anja Weisser paced the defense with 10 saves.

Lancaster Bible is coming off of an 18-12 non-conference loss to Keystone on March 30. Reagan Horst posted four goals and two assists and Myranda Kemrer (three goals, two assists) and Hannah Thompson (two goals, three assists) each added five points.

SERIES HISTORY
Bryn Athyn is a perfect 4-0 against Lancaster Bible, including a 15-14 overtime victory in last year's clash on General Ronald K. Nelson Field. Laura Clymer scored the match-winning goal 35 seconds into overtime.

The Lions are 2-0 against the Chargers in Lancaster.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
Bryn Athyn (4-1, 1-1 NEAC) has the last two NEAC defensive players of the week, Gianna Ciacciarelli (March 26) and Anja Weisser (April 2).

The Lions have one of the top defenses in Division III, ranking second in scoring defense (4.40 per game), third in caused turnovers per game (18.2), and fourth in ground balls per game (29.0).

Ciacciarelli sits 18th in Division III, second in the NEAC, with 3.20 caused turnovers per game. Sarah Reed is nearly right behind Ciacciarelli as she is 21st in the nation and fourth in the conference with 3.00 caused turnovers per game. Reed is seventh in the NEAC with a team-high 21 ground balls.

Anja Weisser is second in Division III with a 60.7 save percentage and third with a 4.40 goals against average, both conference bests. The 10 saves she had against the Nittany Lions were a season high.

Bri Lennox has scored 13 times in the last two matches. Lennox now has a team-high 21 goals and 27 points. She is seventh in the NEAC in goals, eighth in points, and ninth in draw controls (24) and assists (6).

Sabrina Colbridge—third in the NEAC with 10 assists—has recorded two goals and two assists in each of the last two matches.

SCOUTING LANCASTER BIBLE
Lancaster Bible (1-7, 1-1 NEAC) in 1-3 at home so far this season and averaging 13.00 goals per game—nearly three goals better than its season average.

Led by Myranda Kemrer and her conference-high 46 draw controls, the Chargers are first in the NEAC with 103 draw controls and 17.17 draw controls. Kemrer also leads the team with 18 goals to place her ninth in the NEAC. Kemrer has 29 draw controls in the last three matches.

Hannah Thompson paces the Chargers with 26 points and nine assists. On the defensive end of the field, she has a team-best 11 caused turnovers. She is fourth in the NEAC in assists, ninth in points, and 10th in caused turnovers. Thompson had 10 points in back-to-back matches against Cazenovia and Wilkes.

Reagan Horst is adding 16 goals, nine coming in a win over Cazenovia.

Nicolette Statuti is 1-5 with a 17.65 goals against average and 48 saves.
