BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's lacrosse team opens up North Eastern Athletic Conference play with the Lions host Keuka on Saturday, March 24 and Wells on Sunday, March 25 on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.

LAST TIME OUT
Bryn Athyn improved to 2-0 after a 15-5 victory over visiting Westminster (Pa.) on March 17. Bri Lennox led the Lion offense with seven goals and tied the program-record with 10 points. On the defensive side, Sarah Reed caused seven turnovers and picked up six ground balls and Anja Weisser stopped three shots.

SERIES HISTORY
Bryn Athyn is 0-3 all-time against Keuka with one of the three games coming on General Ronald K. Nelson field. The Lions are 1-2 in three meeting with Wells after knocking off the Express for the first time last season by a 13-10 score.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
The Lions have won six straight non-conference matches with the win over Westminster.

Bryn Athyn has outscored opponents 16-3 during the first half of their first two games.

In the most recent victory, the Lions set a team record with 11 assists and tallied 26 points—one shy of the team record.

Bri Lennox, fifth in the NEAC with 14 draw controls, set the program record for draw controls in a match with 12 against Westminster. She is 12th in the conference with 13 points.

Sabrina Colbridge had a five-assist performance, the second-highest single match total, in the win over the Titans and jumped up to fourth in the conference with six assists. She sits 13th with 10 points.

The seven caused turnovers by Sarah Reed are a program record, surpassing the previous best of six that was held by three Lions.

Laura Clymer recorded the fifth hat-trick of her career. She is fourth on the team in goals.

Anja Weisser leads the NEAC with a 2.50 goals against average and ranks second with a 66.7 save percentage.

SCOUTING KEUKA
Keuka enters the weekend with a perfect 4-0 record thanks to a 19-1 triumph at Alfred University on March 21. Kendall Neuberger scored eight times, while Vanessa Tsarevich and Vera Freda had four goals each.

The Wolves have the top offense in the NEAC, leading the conference in goals (73), assists (21), and goals per game (18.25). Keuka sits second in caused turnovers (47), ground balls (81), draw controls (59), goals allowed (22), and goals against average (5.84).

Keuka has an average margin of victory of 12.75 goals. The Wolves are outscoring teams in the first half 44-8. 

Neuberger is the NEAC leader with 20 goals. She has tallied at least five points in each of the Wolves' first four games.

Freda (14), Brenna Voigt (12), and Tsarevich (11) have reached double figures in goals.

Elizabeth Sherman has a conference-high 35 draw controls, including a season-high 14 at Houghton.

SCOUTING WELLS
The Express are starting their 2018 season this weekend. Before making the trip to Bryn Athyn, Wells will take on Penn State Abington on Saturday to open the season.

Wells brings back eight players from 2017, including its top player Mackenzie Maloney. Maloney was named to the All-NEAC second team after finishing second in the conference with 62 goals and fourth with 78 points. She also led the team in ground balls (48), draw controls (73), and caused turnovers (20).

The Express also return Renee Bartosz (23 goals) and Julia Smith (21 goals) who were second and third, respectively, in scoring last year.

Anna Bozeat was an All-NEAC second-team goalie with 152 saves, a 43.8 save percentage, and a 13.86 goals against average.
