BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's lacrosse team is teaming up with Cradles to Crayons for a winter clothing drive on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in front of the Brickman Center.
The Lions and Cradles to Crayons are collecting new and like-new essential children's winter items such as hats, jackets, gloves, sweaters, mittens, and boots. Donations will support Cradles to Crayons' efforts to provide children living in homeless or low-income situations with the essentials they need to thrive.
Cradles to Crayons started in 2002 in Boston and has expanded to Conshohocken and Chicago. The organization's mission is to provide children from birth through age 12 with the everyday essentials they need to thrive—at home, at school, and at play.
