Grand Lake, Co. – Graduated Senior, Kaitlyn Brock has been named to the 2015 IWLCA/Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll as announced by the organization Monday morning.
To be eligible for inclusion on the honor roll, each athlete is nominated by their school and must be at least a junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. In 2015, 178 student-athletes from 48 different institutions earned the academic honors.
Brock led the Lions with a school-record 31 goals in 2015 and finished second on the squad with four assists for 35 points. Her best game of the season came against St. Elizabeth in NEAC action, where she helped to lead Bryn Athyn to a 15-0 victory with six goals.
Coach Roessler expressed, "Kaitlyn has been a tremendous role model for our student athletes and I'm thrilled to see all her hard work recognized by the IWLCA."
The IWLCA is a membership-led nonprofit association representing the nation's intercollegiate women's lacrosse coaches within Division I, II and III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
