Men's Ice Hockey Makes 10-2 Statement Against Rowan

Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's ice hockey team took down 10-2 Rowan in conference action Friday night. 

Kyle Jennings led the Lions with three goals and two assists.  Terrence Johnson scored two goals and one assist.  Anthony Notofrancesco added two goals.  Jayson Marbach notched one goal and two assists. 

Johnson started the scoring five minutes into the game off a pass from Jennings.   Four minutes later, Jennings scored his first goal of the night on a two on one.  With three minutes later, the Profs got on the board to bring the game within one going into the break. 

Marbach scored 1:20 into the second period, off a pass from McCurdy and Jennings in the neutral zone.  At 11:58, Jennings scored off a pass from Anthony Astorino to score his second goal of the night.  Notofrancesco scored with five minutes left in the period from Marbach and Justin Nugent.  

Going into the third with a 5-1 lead, Bryn Athyn scored three un-answered goal to build their lead to 8-1.  Rowan scored on a loose puck in the defensive zone to move the game within six.  The Lions would score two goals win a minute left to win the game 10-2.

Kyle Watters made 40 saves in net. 

Bryn Athyn heads in the New Year with an 11-1 record and takes on Neumann on the road January 16th at 8:00 pm.
