Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's ice hockey team won their seventh conference game in a row, 6-3 against Richard Stockton in Wednesday night action.
Travis McCurdy led the Lions with a hat-trick and one assist. Kyle Jennings added one goal and one assist. Anthony Notofrancesco and Billy Reilly scored a goal each. Jayson Marbach put up two assists.
Heading into the second intermission with a 2-0 lead, McCurdy scored his second goal of the night to extend the Bryn Athyn lead to 3-0. 30 seconds later, Notofrancesco scored top of the slot off a pass from Marbach to help the Lions lead 4-0 at the end of the second.
The Ospreys would start the third scoring three unanswered goals to bring the game within one with 4:10 left in the third. Reilly scored off a rebound from Jordan Roth to help rebuild the Bryn Athyn lead to two. With eight seconds left in the third, McCurdy scored on an empty net from the defensive zone to win the game 6-3.
Kyle Watters made 30 saves in net for the Lions .
Bryn Athyn returns home this Friday to host Rowan in their last home of the 2014 year at 8:00 pm.
